JIM GLINES, Chief Executive Officer – Jim is a career banker. He co-founded Community Bank of Santa Maria where he opened the Bank as President and Chief Executive Officer in March 2001.  He continues to serve as Chairman of the Board today.  Jim, along with Keith Pierce, re-activated the Hancock College Boosters Inc. in 2000 and was elected as Chief Executive Officer, serving in that capacity going on 24 years.

Jim Glines is a lifetime resident of the Santa Maria Valley.  Jim was raised on a cattle ranch in the Cuyama Valley, California.  He attended grammar school and high school in Santa Maria and then graduated from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor’s Degree in Farm Management.  He also holds a Graduate degree in Banking from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado.

Jim is a 50-year member of the Elks Lodge in Santa Maria and is past chairman of the Santa Maria Elks Rodeo Queen Contest.  He served as Elks Rodeo Queen Chairman or Co Chairman for 20 years.  He is a member of Los Rancheros Visitadores and serves on their Board of Directors as Treasurer.  He was appointed to the Santa Barbara County Fair Board of Directors in 1990 by then Governor George Deukmejian and was later elected President of the Board.

Jim graduated from the World Champion College of Auctioneering in Bakersfield, California and is a former member of the Board of Directors of the California State Auctioneers Association where he served as Treasurer.  He was named California State Champion Auctioneer in 2001.  Jim was presented the prestigious “Citizen of the Year” award by the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce in August of 2005.  In 2007, Jim founded the Santa Maria Police Council along with then Police Chief, Danny Macagni.  He was elected the Council’s first President and served two consecutive terms.  He remains on their Board of Directors.  The Santa Maria Elks Lodge #1538 named Jim their “Citizen of the Year” in May 2008.  He was elected to serve on the Board of Pacific Christian School in September 2010 and elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Santa Maria Fair Park Foundation in October 2013.  Jim was elected to serve as a Deacon on the Board of Pacific Christian Church in 2016.  Jim was honored to serve as the Grand Marshall of the 2017 Elks Rodeo Parade.  He was awarded the ‘Director’s Choice, Person of the Year’ by the Santa Barbara County Fair Board of Directors in 2018.  The Community Action Commission of Santa Barbara named Jim as one of their honored ‘Champions’ for the year 2020.  Jim is a life member of the National Rifle Association; the Santa Maria Elks Lodge; and the National Cutting Horse Assoc.  Jim and his wife, Kathy, reside in Santa Maria and have four children and five grandchildren.

KEITH PIERCE, President/CFO – Keith is an Agent for Farmers Insurance.  He graduated from the University Sacramento with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a minor in Economics in 1994.  In 1997, he moved back to Santa Maria to start and raise a family. For the past 12 years now, Keith has been self-employed working as an agency producer with Farmers Insurance.  He has volunteered for numerous outside non-profit organizations such as Serve Santa Maria, Santa Maria Food Bank -Empty Bowls, along with many other events held by our local churches and schools.  Keith has been the Hancock College Booster President/CFO for the past 24 years.

TRICIA MCCALL, Secretary – Tricia retired from Community Bank of Santa Maria in 2017, after 16 years, to travel full-time.  She stepped in as the Event/Auction Coordinator for Hancock College Boosters Inc. in July 2021, when Jada Clark moved to Texas.  With the help of a small, volunteer committee, Tricia was able to pull off one of the most successful events in the organization’s history and within a six-week time frame.  Tricia’s banking career began in 1983 as a Legal Assistant with Production Credit Association (Farm Credit), leaving there to form the Ag Department at Bank of Santa Maria in 1986.  Over the years, Tricia worked in various capacities from Loan Officer, VP/Branch Manager to Website, Intranet and Forms Developer.  Tricia has served her community most of her life through Board & Committee service such as Leadership Santa Maria Valley, American Cancer Society (Daffodil Days & Relay for Life), Santa Maria Valley YMCA, Aqua Center, Santa Maria Valley Pioneer Association, Santa Maria Historical Society, Cruzin’ for Life and Hancock College Boosters Inc.  Tricia and her husband, Kirk, reside in Orcutt and have two adult children, three granddaughters and a 12 year old Golden Retriever.

TYREE COCHRANE, Director & Head Coach – Tyree joined Hancock College Boosters Inc. Rodeo Team July 1, 2023 and was elected to the Board in the fall.  Tyree owns TQ Equine, Inc. through which she offers coaching services to the Allan Hancock College Rodeo Team and Hancock College Boosters, Inc.  She is a California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo Alum, where she was deeply involved in their Rodeo Team.  Tyree served on the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association Board of Directors for four years, two of those years serving as Student President.

ERIN KRIER, Faculty Advisor – Coordinator and Assistant Professor of Agriculture at Allan Hancock College. Erin’s industry background is in field research testing pesticide efficacy, and her master’s research was on nutrient control of soilborne plant pathogens. She currently teaches plant science, sustainable agriculture, animal science, agribusiness, integrated pest management, and introduction to agriculture studies & careers. Erin has served as a PI and co-PI for two National Science Foundation Advanced Technological Education grants and as co-PI for a USDA Food Safety Outreach Program grant. Erin developed new certificates and degrees in Agricultural Science, Agricultural Plant Science, Agricultural Business, Crop Protection, and Pest Control Adviser Preparation in addition to creating several new courses for these programs. She is currently the chair of the Academic Quality Committee, co-chair of the Sciences & Technologies Success Team, chair of the Agriculture Advisory Committee, and serves on four local high school FFA advisory committees. Erin is the faculty advisor for the Collegiate Young Farmers & Ranchers club and the Allan Hancock College Rodeo Team.
