Congratulations to Sutton Mang! She qualified for the College Rodeo National Finals in Casper, Wyoming. To qualify, a competitor must compete in ten Regional Intercollegiate Rodeos and the top two point-holders in each event go to Nationals. She was presented with a check for $1,250 from the Allan Hancock College Booster Inc. Rodeo Team Committee to assist with travel expenses. Sutton joined the Allan Hancock College Rodeo Team in August 2022 and has been competing in Breakaway. The team competes in the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) West Coast Region.
